Hello joey, thank you for the great content you put out here. I am considering a niche in "Making money with your smartphone ". Is it going to be okay having the keywords "Money and wealth in the domain name? For example, https://www.moneymakingtips.com, wealth4all.com. Thank you.

Yes it is fine to have your main keywords in your domain in fact it is encouraged if your goal is to rank in google for those KWs. However the domain name is not as important as it used to be. I find building a brand name for your site is more effective in today's online environment.

Thank you joey for an awesome response.
Building a brand name.? Does this mean I have to ensure my website talks about making money with smartphones at all times?

If you are getting into niche content then you should be an expert in your chosen niche and focus specifically on it. Not only will it help SEO but more importantly your audience will become more loyal.

Hi there, Stevie here again lol
I have some more questions if anyone can suggest any help if im going in the right direction.
I have the domain name diy-greenliving.com and my thoughts are to setup a website/landing page with a broad Niche of DIY Green Energy, solar power etc and possibly Natural Healthy Eating Tips with a few affiliate links to products/services (Is this too broad?)
I can then concentrate on driving traffic to the site with my links on it. I aim to add good content/tips etc as i work on the site to add customer value.

Also i have a facebook page made up relating to my domain name, just not sure what to be doing with it yet:rolleyes:

Cheers

Regarding domain extensions, we all know .com is the golden domain extension all of us look for. Sometimes I find it very hard to find a .com extension with the domain names I have in mind. What do you think about the extensions .co, .net, .org, .online, .info, .... now we have plenty of options but the big question is if with SEO any of those would work fine besides .com
