Landing Page Optin Rate Help

I’ve been running a campaign on Google and Bing, starting with an email optin landing page which redirects to a sales page after the optin.

So far I’ve only been able to muster a 15% optin rate on the email optin landing page. I feel pretty good about the quality of the traffic (getting around 7% CR on the sales pages after optin, and about 1% CR when I send traffic directly to the sales page and skip the optin), so I’m pretty sure it’s my email optin landing page/copy. I’ve only split tested 3 different versions of the email optin landing page, all with about the same results.

I know I need to split test more pages to increase my optin rate. My question is are there any frameworks or templates that I could implement into the new split tests to increase the likelihood of a conversion increase? Whether related to copy or the page design as a whole.

Here are a couple of of the ~15% CR landing pages for reference, I welcome all critiques!:


Based on my maths, if I can hit a 30% optin rate I can really start to scale the campaign.

That is a great start man...one thing I did to increase my optin drastically on one of our PA campaign pages was to add a gif that appeared to be a video and when you click the gif image it pops up a form

It also works well above the fold especially if your offer has a video on it...just pull an enticing clip from it and make a gif.

Next thing I would suggest is making sure google knows when a lead is captured (if you havent already) This way once you have enough conversions you can start bidding for Target CPA.

Here is an example where I want my leads around $2.75 CAD because I know that if i get my leads for less than that I will turn a profit based on the sales in my follow up funnel. Which then allows me to scale.
